Medication Information

Paracetamol (Acetaminophen)

Pain and fever relief.

Adults: up to 1g every 6 hours, max 4g/day. Do not combine with other paracetamol-containing cold medicines.

Ibuprofen

Pain, fever, inflammation.

Take with food. Avoid in pregnancy (third trimester), peptic ulcer disease, or severe kidney problems.

Cetirizine

Allergies, hay fever, hives.

Once daily. Mild drowsiness possible — avoid alcohol.

ORS (Oral Rehydration Salts)

Rehydration in diarrhea or vomiting.

Dissolve one sachet in clean water as directed. Sip frequently.

Antacids

Heartburn and indigestion.

Short-term use. Persistent symptoms need medical evaluation.

Salbutamol inhaler

Quick relief of asthma symptoms.

Use as prescribed. Frequent use means asthma is not well controlled — see a doctor.
